How to play TriPeaks solitaire
Clear three peaks of cards by playing cards one higher or one lower than the card on the pile. Long chains are the secret.
The rules
- 28 cards make three peaks in four rows. The bottom row of ten is face up; the others turn up when the cards covering them are gone.
- One card starts face up on the pile below. Play any uncovered card that is one higher or one lower, whatever the suit. It becomes the new top of the pile.
- King and Ace connect: you can play an Ace on a King and a King on an Ace.
- When nothing fits, tap the deck to turn over its next card. You go through the deck once.
- Clear all 28 cards to win.
How to play here
- Tap a card in the peaks to play it.
- Tap the deck when you’re stuck.
- Undo as often as you like; Hint points to the best card.
Tips
- Before playing, look for the longest chain: 5-6-7-6-5 clears five cards from one turn of the deck.
- Prefer cards that uncover face-down cards.
Questions
Can every deal be won?
No, but most can. By default the computer checks each new deal and only gives you one it has found a way to win.
