Gin rummy that does the sorting and counting for you
This is classic two-player gin rummy against a computer opponent. Your cards are sorted into sets and runs automatically, each meld is marked with its own color, and your deadwood count is always on screen, so you can see at a glance when you’re able to knock.

How to play this game
- Draw. Take the top card of the discard pile, or tap the deck to draw an unknown card.
- Discard. Tap a card in your hand, then Discard. You can’t throw back a card you just picked up from the discard pile.
- Knock when your deadwood is 10 or less. The game shows a Knock button whenever the card you picked would let you. With no deadwood at all, it’s Gin.
- Score. The game lays off the computer’s cards on your melds (or yours on its), compares deadwood, and adds bonuses. First to 100 wins.

Which rules does this game use?
Standard two-player gin rummy: 10 cards each, knock with 10 or less, a 25-point bonus for gin and for an undercut, and a game to 100 with a 100-point game bonus and 25 points for every hand won. A shutout doubles the winner’s score. The hand is a draw when only two cards are left in the deck.
Does the computer see my cards?
No. It knows its own cards, the discard pile, and which cards you picked up from the discard pile, which is exactly what a person across the table would know.
