How to play Beleaguered Castle
In Beleaguered Castle the four Aces start on the foundations and every other card is dealt face up. It’s a game of pure planning.
The rules
- The four Aces start on the foundations. The other 48 cards are dealt face up into eight columns of six.
- Build down regardless of suit: any 6 goes on any 7.
- Move one card at a time.
- Any card can go into an empty column.
- Build the foundations up by suit to the King to win.
How to play here
- Tap a card to move it to the best place: a foundation, another column, or an empty column.
- Undo as often as you like; Hint suggests a winning next step.
Tips
- An empty column is worth a lot. Try to clear a short column early.
- Look for the 2s first: they can go home straight away.

Can every deal be won?
No, but many can. By default the computer checks each new deal and only gives you one it has found a way to win.
